How do I measure a replacement downstem? Measure from the base of the joint where it enters the bong down to the tip, and note the joint diameter. Both numbers matter - a correct diameter at the wrong length will sit too high or hit the base.
What sizes do you stock? 18mm and 14mm fittings across this range, 18mm being the more common. Check which your piece takes before ordering, as the two are not interchangeable.
What does a diffused downstem do? Slits cut into the submerged end break the smoke into smaller bubbles instead of releasing one large one, so more of it meets the water. An open-ended stem draws easier but cools less.
Will any downstem fit my bong? Only if the joint diameter and the length both match. Bongs vary in how deep the joint sits, so a stem that fits one 18mm piece may be wrong for another. Measure before ordering.
