Frequently asked questions

What does a filter tip actually do? A tip is a small rolled paper or card mouthpiece placed at one end. It keeps that end open, stops the paper collapsing and gives the roll something firm to hold its shape around.

What is the difference between flat tips and pre-rolled tips? Flat tips such as RAW Original Tips come as a booklet of card leaves you roll into shape yourself. Pre-rolled tips, sold in 21pk packs and in a tin, arrive already formed into a cylinder.

What does perforated mean on a tip pack? Perforated tip leaves have a punched line so you can tear a strip to the width you want. Elements also list a non perforated tip, which is a plain card leaf with no tear line.

Is the SmokeBuddy a rolling tip? No. The SmokeBuddy Personal Air Filter is a separate handheld unit and it does not go inside a roll. It is grouped here because it is also a filter product, not because it works like a paper tip.
