Frequently asked questions
What does a mesh screen do? It sits in the base of a bowl or chamber and spans the hole, so loose pieces are held above it rather than being pulled through. It is a consumable part that is swapped out when it clogs.
Which screen size do I need? These stainless steel screens are listed in 10mm, 15mm, 18mm and 20mm. Measure across the inside of the bowl at the point where the screen will sit and pick the size that lies flat.
How many screens come in a pack? Each size is sold as a five pack, so there are spares on hand when one clogs. Screens are treated as consumables rather than permanent parts of the piece.
Can a stainless steel screen be cleaned and reused? Up to a point. A soak in isopropyl and a rinse clears most residue, but once the mesh is distorted or will not sit flat in the bowl it should be replaced.
