What is the difference between solid colour and frosted glass? Solid colour means the pigment runs through the glass itself, so the colour does not wear off. Frosted glass is etched to a matte finish, which scatters the light and hides fingerprints.
Can I see the water level through coloured glass? Not easily, as solid pink and frosted bodies hide the level. Pour a measured amount the first time and note where it sits, or tilt the piece gently to hear the water move.
What base shapes do the pink waterpipes use? The range mixes a 26cm frosted beaker base with straight sided tubes from 20cm to 32cm. The height is listed at the end of every title, so check it against your shelf.
