Storz & Bickel Vaporizers NZ — the Full Range at Greenhut
Storz & Bickel — the brand name is also commonly written Storz and Bickel — is a German manufacturer that has been building dry herb vaporizers since the late 1990s. Greenhut stocks the current New Zealand line-up: four battery-powered portables and four mains-powered units, plus the spares that keep them running. Every device on this page is a dry herb vaporizer with adjustable temperature control and a German-built heater.
Portable or mains-powered? Start here
The single biggest decision with a Storz and Bickel is whether you want a battery unit you can carry, or a plug-in unit that stays on a bench. Portables (VENTY, MIGHTY+, CRAFTY+, VEAZY) run on internal lithium batteries and charge over USB-C. Mains units (VOLCANO CLASSIC, VOLCANO HYBRID, VOLCANO HYBRID ONYX, PLENTY) have no battery at all — they draw power from the wall, which is why they can run longer sessions and push far more air.
The portables — VENTY, MIGHTY+, CRAFTY+ and VEAZY
The VENTY is the current flagship and the only Storz and Bickel portable with adjustable airflow, rated up to 20 litres per minute at its widest setting. It also carries a flowmeter that reads the pressure of your draw and adjusts the heater to match, and it reaches temperature in roughly 20 seconds.
The MIGHTY+ is the larger, more traditional handheld: a hybrid conduction-and-convection heater, a 40–210 °C range with Booster and Superbooster presets, haptic feedback when it reaches temperature, and pass-through charging so it stays usable while plugged in. It weighs about 230 g and measures roughly 14 × 8 × 3 cm.
The CRAFTY+ is the pocketable option — a 1.4 cm³ ceramic-coated chamber and one-button operation, with a base temperature of 180 °C, +15 °C on a double-click and +30 °C on a triple-click. Anything more granular is set through the app.
The VEAZY is the newest and smallest of the four, at 134 g and 13.4 × 3.7 × 3.5 cm, with a chamber of about 150 mg and airflow up to 10 litres per minute. It uses the same one-click / two-click temperature logic as the CRAFTY+ and the same Bluetooth web app.
Mains-powered — VOLCANO and PLENTY
The VOLCANO CLASSIC is the original: pure convection, a nine-position analogue dial covering 130–230 °C, and the Easy Valve balloon system. It takes around three to five minutes to come up to a mid-range temperature. We also stock the VOLCANO CLASSIC 25 Years Edition, mechanically the same unit in an iridescent green finish with gold-plated accents.
The VOLCANO HYBRID adds a digital touch display, a wider 40–230 °C range, app connectivity, and a rotatable tube attachment alongside the balloon — so you can draw directly instead of waiting for a bag to fill. It reaches 180 °C in about 40 seconds and moves roughly 30 litres per minute through the tube. The VOLCANO HYBRID ONYX is the same machine in a matte black powder-coated finish.
The PLENTY is the odd one out — a mains-powered unit you hold rather than sit beside. It runs 130–202 °C on a seven-level thumbwheel, has the largest chamber in the range at 3.4 cm³, and passes vapour through a stainless-steel cooling coil. At 700 g it is heavier than any of the portables but far smaller than a VOLCANO, and it needs about four and a half minutes to reach 180 °C.

Choosing one in New Zealand
A few things worth thinking through before you commit:
-
Where will you actually use it? If the answer is "at home, on a bench", a VOLCANO or PLENTY gives you more chamber, more airflow and no battery to age. If it needs to leave the house, it has to be a portable.
-
Solo or shared? The PLENTY's 3.4 cm³ chamber and the VOLCANO's balloon system are built for longer or shared sessions. The VEAZY's ~150 mg chamber is built for one person, once.
-
How much do you care about waiting? The VENTY (~20 sec) and VOLCANO HYBRID (~40 sec) are the quick starters. The VOLCANO CLASSIC and PLENTY take minutes, not seconds.
-
Draw resistance. If you dislike a tight draw, the VENTY's adjustable airflow and the HYBRID's tube system are the two units in the range built specifically around that.
-
Everything charges over USB-C. All four portables use USB-C, so one cable covers the lot. We also stock the Storz & Bickel USB-C Supercharger for the MIGHTY+ and VENTY.
Spares, wear parts and accessories
These are devices people keep for years, so the consumables matter. Greenhut carries Storz and Bickel Wear and Tear sets for the MIGHTY+, CRAFTY+, VENTY and VOLCANO HYBRID, replacement Cooling Units and mouthpieces for the VENTY and CRAFTY+, Dosing Capsules and the Dosing Capsule Magazine, VOLCANO balloons with adapters, the VOLCANO Hybrid filling chamber and dosing capsule filling chamber, and the VOLCANO filling chamber housing. Screens, seal rings and cleaning brushes are the parts that wear first — worth ordering with the device rather than after it stops performing.
